Need valves for k650
19 Mar 2007 14:17
Started this thread after search function came up empty.
Good news: got the head, valves, and jugs into the machine shop for the valve job. Cylinders can be honed and new valve seats cut without a problem.
Bad news: need to replace 1 intake and 2 exhaust valves.
Can anyone recommend a source for these parts?
Thanks!

Appreciate the offer, Matt, however I'd like new since the reason for replacement is severe pitting in the seating surfaces.

Parts FOUND.
Ebay was a surprisingly good source for these parts. All three valves were found, NOS, at a couple of different Ebay "stores" by searching eBay with the Kaw factory parts number. I saved about 40% buying the valves this way, as opposed to dealer prices.
Will definitely use Ebay for such parts in the future, since many sellers of NOS parts use the original Kaw factory part numbers in their listing.
