tick.... tick tick tick......tick

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I have this awful clicking sound in my motor... seems to be coming from the right side. It sounds like the valve seats, but this usually goes away after an oil change.
I just replaced the filters, and filled her up with full synthetic. The ticking has still not gone away...

Not that I know anything, but that's never stopped me from chiming in...
My GPz was making ticking sounds when I parked it yea those many years ago, back in the days of antiquity, and I was concerned enough about it to do a full teardown. I could have stopped with a top-end job. It appears that it was cam chain slap, caused by badly worn cam chain tensioner blocks. The chain showed almost no stretch, but all three tensioner blocks were worn almost 1/4". But to get to the one on the back of the block, you have to remove the cylinders. My bike has 34k miles on it.

did you remove exhausts?
sounds like exhaust is blowing mine did this before i changed the exhaust gaskets.
i had a failed helicoil and my exhaust stud kept pulling out id keep tightening it wondering why it kept loosening lol.
id say this is probably your problem or wireman has put a bomb under your bike.
