not running??

hey everyone i have a problem with my 81 kz550. i recently baught some new parts. air pod filters, plugs, wire, oil filter. etc.. i put the all on but the oil filter. i took off the carbs and cleane dthe hell out of them, re installed them and the one that was leaking b 4 is leaking again. anyone know why my bike cant staying running? it will start 2 then stop. its hard 2 get started cause it was sitting for a lil while. ?? any one know wats up?

if your mechanical ability is as good as your spelling and grammer take the thing to a mechanic.

if it was running fine before you tore into it its most likely because you did'nt buy a proper carb rebuild kit.

We need more info on your problem like will it take throttle, does it idle at all. does it run only on choke or off? Please be more discriptive other than it won't run.
