glass bead before or after engine assembly?

buncha pics of beaded cases and such on the redlinecycles pages.

specifically, check the engine buildup process series.

clear coat after, and not worry about it.

i'd been sand blasting the covers on my turbo motor, but that leaves a surface that pics up EVERYTHING. gonna go back and have those blasted with glass next time.

also, trying to figure out the best way to clean the cases off of my 1015 motor that's in the project bike. i want it all natural again. might just have to do the head this time tho.
