cylinder head replacement

Hello Folks:

I have several KZ1000A1 models and one needs a new head. There is a head from a KZ1000B3 on eBay that I'm looking at. Although I have heard that these heads are interchangeable, they do have different Kawasaki part numbers...does anyone have any experience swapping 1977 and 1979 KZ1000 cylinder heads?
