?? about parts interchange KZ1100/KZ1000

I have a 1982 KZ1100, shaft.
What years (IF ANY) KZ1000 parts for the engine and trans are interchangeable?

There are parts that interchange. To find out which parts, go to www.kawasaki.com -> user info -> parts diagrams ... find the model you want and select the part. Then put that parts number into the blank field available under the parts pulldown. It will show you all models the part is installed in.

i belive the kz1000j hase the same crank and rods as the 1100, possibly the head too, i'm not sure about the trans though.
