Actually, if you check the average price on all the other big-name brands (V&H, Kerker, Yoshimura, etc.) the X-pipe isn't that far off of them.
Sure Mac and Jardine are cheaper, but you get what you pay for with there. Add in the fact that there really aren't that many pipes available anymore for our ancient steeds, and that X-pipe looks better and better all the time.
So if it actually lives up to it's boast of out-performing the others brands, then it sounds like fair deal to me.

Recall as being on par with a 4 into 1 and must be removed to change oil and filter.

$354 and thats for a black system, another $175 for chroming, my V/H sidewinder fully chromed only cost me $250 and i dont have to remove it to change my oil,my chromed kerker only cost me $325.and again it stays on for oil changes,i think this guys exhuast are very kool lookin and i think they would give decent performance but i think its OVER PRICED.

Let us know how it works.I dont't see
any rear suppoet brackets.?? It takes
alot of muffler volume to silence and
make HP,the system probably only works
when run open.It is hard to tell with the
metal clam shell if the pipes actually
make the correct cross intersection inside
of it.

im putting on an x pipe right now. unfortunately it required ordering a new jet kit because when put right on after my old 4-2, it "ran like shit" as quoted by my friend in the shop.

ill let you know hot it runs when i get it :)

the guy who sells those won't let you return them if you order a chromed one, that shows you he stands behind his products quality.

they arn't worth it, you have to take them off to change your oil, he has to jazz up the sales pitch to convince morons that they'll actually make more power than a good 4:1, i bet that x-pipe weighs more than an average 4;1 too.

If it does'nt have a rear support,I would
fabricate one.Usualy the less back pressure
a system has, the larger main jets you will
need.

Yeah, but this X-pipe dude goes into why you don't need to do that on his 'scavenge' page. point is that scavenging works SO well that on a high-flowing head, the scavenging is pulling more than the exhaust out, its pulling the new mixture out as well, so usually you need more jet to compensate for the loss of mixture.
