I don't have it running yet though, plus I cut .050" off the head, and I think that may have been to much
That was the first time I ever milled a head and I kinda got carried away.

You should be able to fix with a shim under the block....plus I cut .050" off the head, and I think that may have been to much

Nope, used the 1939 Gorton vertical mill in my garage
Someday I'll post a pic of my home made valve spring compressor, it takes less than 5 minutes to remove all the valves from a 8 valve head, and it cost me $0.00 to make it
I used part of a sign post, a broken come-along, and a short piece of galvanized pipe. Nothing shade tree about this boy :evil:
