Additional note. The thread size M14x1.25 is in fact the same exact thread specification as the NGK B8ES spark plugs; so feel free to jam a spark plug in your galley hole.:whistle:

Someone needs to put an oil gauge on the end of a hollowed-out spark plug. That would look very interesting! :ohmy:

That is actually a good way to check the threads. If the plug fits, you know the thread size.
