Why are my pistons black?

Coil mod!

Look at your intake valves and see if there's a lot of buildup on the back sides. If there is, pull he head apart and clean it off. If it looks like it's from oil, you may need guides / seals.

Also, my parts bike has a valve cover with air suction covers. What do these do? Would it be worth my while to use this valve cover instead of the stock one?
