Stator Cover Replacement was created by shaftie1100
Hey all,
I'm new to the site... I just picked up an 83' KZ1100 LTD.
I purchased the bike on the coldest day this year, and let's say that loading and unloading in/out of a trailer in -20 weather with ice on the ground is plain NO FUN!!!
In the mix, I managed to crack the stator cover. I have already purchased a replacement as well as a new gasket.
Is there anything I should look for when I remove the old cover? Is there anything I could have damaged when I cracked the cover?
