Engine year, specs? was created by mykykz
I'm starting my project and need to know the year and what model this kz motor came from. The ID# is KZ750EE137989.
From what I've gathered I could guess that is out of a 1980 LTD model, standard 4??? Any information will help.

Here is what you are looking for.
My guess is a 83-85 motor since it has a six digit serial number. Doe it have a clutch release lever on the right side engine clutch cover?
A picture of the motor would help.

I second Steell. I have a 1982 KZ750R1 (original motor, VIN KZ750EE081XXX) and Mother Green produced about 25,000 (?) of these motors per year (1980 through 1988) but put them in a number of bike 'types' (E, KZ[R1], LTD and also [and what your motor is from] the ZX750 series). The ZX750 series persisted through 1988 outside of North America (1985 for North America).
