rebuilding an 82 KZ750 twin

Hey everyone...
I have an 82 kz750 twin that i bought off of ebay
for only 200 bucks. Anywho it is in pieces. the
previous owner was in the process of rebuilding it
as well when he just got tired of it I guess. Previous
owner said biggest issue was the wiring harness (in
pieces) but I'm putting it together piece by piece. I
could use any advice aswell as what to do about the
electrical issue once everything is back in place.
I'm also thinking 'bout chopping or rat rodding it. Any previous projects with a web page like this would also be helpful... thanks.

Hi, how goes it?
I personally have not had this issue but from what the fellas post here you can go two ways. Take apart, inspect, clean/repair all connections through out the harness and apply anti-oxidating gel or spray on your connections. OR you can make a new one.Yourself. It's do-able. Be sure to label what everything does. Make note of the wire colors.Where they go , what they do.Also on your old one be sure to get out your multimeter and ohm everything out(check for continuity.
I think for some models you may even be able to buy a new one but that I'll leave info shall have to come from my more knowledgeable fellow members.
