When I start my engine, I could hear some metal cranking sounds from my engine, but when I press the clutch a little bit, the sound is gone. I guess that is the clutch problem right?

Thank you

Beats me! Have you ridden it to see if the noise is heard during riding?

Have you changed your oil recently? I would do that and do that pushrod adjustment.

yah, I did changed my oil. My bike is freaking right now. When I start the engine, RPM was only around 1500RPM with chock on. I checked my battery. It's kind of low because I couldn't start my engine with starter. I push some gas, it comes backfire with black smoke. I guess it's carbu. problems.
How do you think about this situation? LOW RPM, BACKFIRE,BLACK SMOKE, AND UNSTABLE ENGINE MOVEMENT.

THANK YOU

Definately sounds like the carb is leaning out your fuel intake, wait no, If you have black smoke your air/ fuel mix is rich. I would advise you to clean your air filter.

My air filter is new, but it smell like gasoline...
So do I still need to clean up the air-filter?

No, replace it with a new one.
If it smells that badly of gas, it sounds like one or more of your carbs is overflowing and dumping fuel into the airbox and flooding the filter. And if it soaked the air filter, it probably has also dumped down through the crankcase vent tube into the engine. Remove the oil fill cap and see if it smells of fuel in there BEFORE riding your bike again. Then figure out why the carbs are overflowing.

And if your bike backfires through the carbs, your fuel-soaked air filter (and your butt) could possibly become engulfed in flames....not a pleasant thought/experience! :pinch:

Yes, I will replace a new air filter. Just now, I find out my right side of cylinder is working. And then, I changed to new spark plugs, but it still doesn't work. I think because of that my rpm was so low.....

Could you direct me what should I do if one of the cylinder is not working. Thank you.
