Since I have no dought Ape Jay will coment on this I'd also like to ask if with the $189 valve job are the valves front and rear, comb chamber, ports etc cleaned up with a glass beading and wash (carbon removal) not talking about any porting or smoothing out.
Also for the assemble ($50 right)? are the springs ajusted for the proper height? And Can they be set to a med height 50% more tention than stock but maybe not at a full tention set say as a all out racer would use.
Also I have a new set of RC Hi per springs (old still new in the pack) that I was thinking of having installed when this is done. Will you install these at the correct height for the 50 dollar fee and DO you think they are still in good shape even though there approx 25 years old and un used?
Wanted to edit for this to: even though you don't show valves for the 650 do you sell them, stainless intake and ex? If so could you give the price and brand. Thanks much!!!

The best thing to do is contact APE directly, either by e-mail or phone, I'm sure they would be more than happy to answer your questions.

We can answer these questions in detail if you e-mail tech@aperaceparts.com .
Briefly, Hw-4-8 is a complete valve job that gets the seats machined in the Serdi.
Hw-20-8 is for the heads we get apart and find the seats do not need to be machined. Everything is cleaned up, valves ground and lapped in and head assembled. We do not get too many of these, but when we do, we do not want to cut the seats if not necessary.

APE did a great job on rebuilding my head, and the machine work for my 615 Kit. Send it to them, and let them look it over for what it might need. Mine only needed exhaust guides.
