cam chain tool..

anyone have any luck with motion pro's cam riveting tool??heard about modifying a small c-clamp for riveting..just don't wanna throw away $80 if i don't have to...can easily use a cut off to take the old one off..appreciate any input..

There's as many arguments to this as there are riders, but in my opinion and experience a master link type camchain works just fine. My experience admittedly is limited as all the KZs I've owned and all the miles, (300,000 plus just on KZs), I've only replaced one camchain and that was at 150,000+ miles on the engine.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
