YOSHIMURA PIPE QUESTION was created by yakimasy
Just wondering... me and a friend bought 3 900's... a 74, 75, and 76... the guy threw in a box of items, not all for the Z's and a 70's yosh pipe... this pipe is cool as hell but a couple of reservations... I want to put this on my 77 kz1000... first draw back is the pipe has to be taken off to change oil.. I'm always willing to replace functionality with something that looks cool...

next.. does this cause any issues with how the bike will run?

I had a Yosh on and it is a PITA when changing the oil, but you do get good at removing and re-installing the pipe. I loved the sound too, but mine did not have a baffle, so my buddies didn't like riding behind me.
I did switch to a Kerker eventully, which was too quite, but grew to like it.

I had the same muffler on a Kerker pipe before my bike went through it's big change. I loved the sound. I am looking for another one because the one I had is too rashed to use. They look great polished up. Mine had the baffle in and it gave it a great sound.. a mix between a Kerker megaphone and a modern sportbike.
