cylinder size and ring types was created by bonehead
Bluemeanie stopped by with a set of tools and figured out the cylinder sizes today (750-ltd poor compression thread). Thanks again! I'm attaching the results and looks like just need to hone and a set of rings.
Question1: Are there different makers of rings and is one manufacturer better then another?
Question2: Is it acceptable to use a modern high strength gasket-maker/sealer with the new gasket where the lower case attaches to the cylinder jugs?

You don't have any choice in rings, it's either Kawasaki or nothing for stock bores.
I think the manual calls for Hondabond, Yamabond, or equiv for the base gasket, but I don't remember for sure. I'd look it up but I'm in the middle of assembling my MegaSquirt at the moment
