Unspectacular Daylong ride to the northsea-coast. Damn autumn ;-)
Today, my buddy Jo and I rode a total of 400 km round-trip to the North Sea coast, but it was a really boring, unspectacular ride along dead-straight country roads; it wasn't exactly thrilling, but we’d been invited to a celebration and didn't want to miss it. It was also quite chilly, and I was glad I was wearing full leathers and a full-face helmet... Still, it was nice spending several hours on the road with a good friend... unfortunately, autumn has already made its presence felt here. We set off in the morning at around 13°C and returned in the evening to similar temperatures. In the woods along the country roads, it was still damp and cool—more unpleasant than fun.
((My buddy Jo has been wrenching on vintage Kawasakis for over 45 years—mostly professionally—and has built or restored many truly perfect bikes. For himself, he cobbled together this Z using "leftover parts" from his own stock: it features an MK2 engine, police-spec forks, and wider Morad (formerly Akront) rims, topped off with a Doremi (Japan) paint set in the '73 style. The bike rides and looks great; it was a pleasure hitting the road with him and his machine.

Both bikes look in excellent shape, and you guys are having fun riding your bikes. I am going to try make an effort to document and share some of my rides in the future.

Yes, do that,Kofla !.. it´s a kind of better ideas
, ..and of course: We all like pictures, !!!
I’m trying to post a tour or two here as well, since it’s a really good forum:
Helpful to many people and with a pleasant, friendly atmosphere!-
I also try to get out on the scooters as much as possible; I take nothing for granted regarding whether things will still be going this well next year—time is running a bit short, after all.!
We just got back from a short late-afternoon ride, having enjoyed the last warm rays of sunshine and the warm breeze; the days here are already getting noticeably shorter and cooler— Autumn in Northern Germany isn't exactly beautiful; warm and sunny days are rare, it mostly tends to be wet and windy!
