Another cool running out...!
21 Jun 2026 10:16
Went for a lovely, twisty 200 km ride today with two good buddies; the highlight was that one of my mates was out on his Turbo—always impressive!
We stopped for a bite to eat by a beautiful lake... ....and once again, I didn't have the time or opportunity to take more photos (somehow, riding always comes first for me—sorry!

Nice rides, and to be able to get out together.
I got out today with a few buddies, after our Breakfast meet.
About 240 KMs.
Longest ride on the 1000R since being road legal.
More issues found with her:Speedo is off, Starter button is sporatic and the exhaust separated at the muffler collector connection.

I spy a CB1100F (sans fairing) in a sea of green rstnick! Cool nice running Hondas. Buddy just sold his after i replaced his neglected burned-up exhaust valves that he never checked clearance on ha.

Hi Wookie,
He’s had the bike for a very long time; back then, it was much easier to get things like that—or well-built bikes—over the TüV and registered for street use here. Unfortunately, to our dismay, for that cases, times have changed here drastically. !!!
And yes, i like his bike also very much, the engine is pro-build with all the good things, like sharp cams, forged pistons, all internal bolts are superheavy stuff, lockup clutch, forged and outweighted crank, special rods between pistons and crank, oil-flow tuneup,....and the acceleration is spectacular! - But most important: The rider itself is a very fine guy , the other off the buddies also,..and we`ve had a very fine ride and day,... was like in the old gone days, as we`re all at the age of 20
( As i ever told: One of the best things with trousers on )
