Just back from 1st ride this year :-)

Hi Z-heads,
i am just back from my first ride this year.
Startet at 11.00 pm at temperature of 4°C and cloudy sky,..but some little  rays of sun were spotted...., and done about 130 miles,..was great, cold, ( about 4cm`s ), and always a very fine feeling to be back on the Z1000,
...and as ever: No time for some good pictures....So, just here at home, and get a hot shower, the last 30 km´s over the highway been very cold ...no more than 4-5 degrees C and cold wind ,..brrrrr.

Many German houses/windows/roofs are almost impossible to destroy and are bullet proof, we build houses with bricks, concrete and double layer glass windows standards.
Only wooden houses and paper tiger walls should be afraid to the sound of the Kawi Power Bikes.......

Me to, never get frozen!
There is no bad weather condition! You only need to get the right clothing, you Pussy!


 

Jealous.

   Temps have been quite nice here for a few days, but the amount of salt & salt dust still on the roads that will cause countless tiny pits in polished aluminum has kept us off the bikes.    It's s'posed to rain enough next week that most of the salt will wash away.

Scirocco said pussy, ha. Did 30+yrs of construction, that's just simple within 5 second conversation at the local tavern. I can pull off better then that with an array of communicable diseases as a comeback, hehe.

And here again, just back from a little ride along the river....Nice dry and sunny weather here at 12°C....



 

Nice bike! It is cold here in norway but got the raincovers of the fj off yesterday and took first ride.I met one more rider so was not the first rider out. Today i will pick up the kawa that is on winterstorage but its cold.It will get more snow again that is for sure .but good to get the bikes on road.Just have to be carful riding over bridges there might be ice on road .Dont ask how i know!

Soo then the kawa is on the road again too .Today  the temp was above freezing point 0 degree Celsius  so i just rode in a T-shirt and shorts and viking helmet

Hi Rolf,
fine to see, that you´re also back on the streets,..but  there are really a lot of old ice...NO salt on the roads??.( take care for corrosion, or wash your bike after riding, or it will be terrible rust,..but i am sure,  you know that better than me..
