Both places we camped were above 8000 feet and got down to 37 deg. at night, most days were around 65-70 unless you were in a valley or looking over the rim.
on 12 we had 5000 ft of elevation change's between Bryce and Capital Reef, 270 miles that day
At Bryce we had to take a RV spot so we could have electricity, that helped a lot with the cooking and we brought an electric heater that kept the tent nice and warm at night .
The only things that got tan were our faces and hands.
Scenic Byway 143 to Brian Head ski resort ( 2nd highest town in the U.S. after Leadville CO )
