Any ideas for a Portland town ride? was created by 1982 KZ 250
with a new baby around, I'm not able to get out too much lately, but it looks like I'll have a day/afternoon this weekend. Anyone have suggestions for a ride in/around the Portland area that would be suitable for a small bike (250)? Any suggestions would be helpful - I have some of my old routes sorted (the west hills, cruising up Mt. Tabor), but looking for something new and different.

I live near Portland, Oregon and my rider is a '76 KZ900 I bought new. I'm also in the process of restoring another one and a '73 Z1.

You might try riding out Bald Peak road to the west. Lots of nice views there.

Thanks for the input! I will definitely keep that road in mind for my next long(er) ride. As it turned-out, I didn't have as much time as I wanted, so I just ended up cruising Skyline Blvd to McNamee Rd, and back on NW St Helen's Rd (though I got stuck behind a sag wagon for a group of road bikers, and wasn't able to fully enjoy the turns on McNamee - lame...).
But, any day on the bike is a good one. Thanks agian-
