If you think that may folks will show up than maybe we need to find a camp ground near a motel and everyone is invited to hang out at my place :P

Sean, I will have my bike done by then. I have a trailer in case you want to double up and drive down. That way we don't have to worry bout your bike breaking down. I love to ride everywhere but my bike has a lot of modded internals. I wouldn't know it it would be a great idea to be putting lots of miles on it or not. I can't wait!

Hey Lawrence, If my bikes gotta go in a trailer, they should be stayin' back in the garage imo. I saw your build thread, you gotta a lot of nice parts/money in that motor so I can dig it. I don't know how streetable/dependable such an animal will be, but you got some time to shake the bugs out and see what it's like. I'm gonna try and do the same.

The flat four tour is fairly awesome too. Heck, anywhere you guys decide that has LOTS of curves! Suches, Georgia has some might fine riding. Down in Missouri I hear the smokies are great.
Curves (both kinds) and streams with cool campgrounds. That's my vote. Plenty of great riding around these parts.

KZ_Rage wrote: Back in 07 and 08 I organized a Rally once in SE Indiana and one in Ky. They drew a few members here, the GSR and even some COG members. They were called the SWOKZ Rallies ("South West Ohio KZ" Rally). I had a web site set up with all the info on it including, maps, places to stay in the area, lunch info, after ride party, etc. You want it organized but not feel organized, too loose and it is like herding cats, too tight and it feels like a tour bus kind of thing.

Here is some links to back then, lots of fun but it is a lot of work to organize it with route planning and checking right up to the last second (Indiana loves to tar & chip without notice it seems). Setting up a campground and motel for special rates/reservations, lunch spots, interesting things to see, roads that challenge the ones that like to carve, it gets a little complicated to a degree as you want to make it a good one when you're the organizer so my advice is to start planning early.

Hey! I'm in that 2008 SWOKZ pic! I still talk about that ride from time to time. I had a great time and rode my 78 kz1000 down from Michigan. I'd be up for another if you guys are still doing it. I have not been on this web site in years and the day I stop in the first post I read is this one!

KZ_Rage are you doing any of the organization?

Has any progress been made on the planning for this meeting? I'll be there, anywhere, if the timing is right.
