So Cal Kawasaki Demo Days

I plan on going out to the Pomona fair grounds tomorrow to take a ride. Anyone in the So Cal area planning on going, we can meet up and ride a new bike together. They are planning another Demo Day at Angel Stadium later in the month I plan on going to also.

Well I made it out to the Demo ride a little late and I was leaving by 1:00 o-clock to make it down to HB for OC Vintage Bike day from 2:00 to 4:00. They had all the sport and cruisers there to try. I didn't have the time to wate to ride the ZX14 but I did take a Concorse14 for a spin. It's a great ride and I only got into third gear even on the freeway.

How did you like the Concorse? You think it would comfy on long rides?

I thought it was super comfy for the short ride we took. I can't see why it wouldn't be good for longer rides. There having another demo days this weekend at Anaheim Stadium, I plan on going this weekend too.

I went on a demo ride at vintage days and rode a ZX6R and the leader led us up to speed real quick. I was doing 130 and plenty left.
I went back in the afternoon to ride again and picked the same bike and got behind this guy that shouldn't be on a bike at all and it was one miserable ride. You are not allowed to pass and he had us way back. Roy

Went last year and had the same problem for part of the ride till he missed a light then the follower had to come up and lead. that's when I let everyone else pass me and I dropped back and pulled a few nice wheelies on a zx10 I was riding I had a REAL good time and no one was the wiser.

Those 600's have some long legs don't they..

They sure do Larry. What suprised me is that the bike felt rock solid. I thought I would have a hard time keeping the front end planted.
I wish I had one. Roy
