Damn Roy. So sorry to hear of your collision. I hope you have some witnesses and the guy who collected you is legit with insurance on his truck and all. I had a similar accident with my old pickup about 8 years ago. The slime-bag that hit me had 3 fake id's in his wallet, was arrested on three different counts, didn't have insurance and never paid for anything other than his bail. I didn't get a lawyer and I should have. I paid the deductible and got my truck fixed. Also paid an additional $25 per month for about 3 years on my insurance premiums. I made the mistake of assuming that my insurance company would try and recover the money since I had a police report showing the other driver was completely at fault. Not so much.

If you hurt now, you can bet you'll be damn sore tomorrow. Get well soon. Makes that bee sting from a year ago seem like nothing. Keep positive and know that you will get your bike fixed sooner than later. Lawyer up and give 'em hell. Take another pain pill for me. You'll need it.

Times two. That sucks, one thing for certain is he can't use the excuse that he didn't hear you coming. If you need anything give me a shout.

Roy, bummer story and hope you pin his ears back after you heal completely. The first sentence of your post reminds me of a buddy's sig line " It went sky,track,sky,track,sky,track, ambulance..." I'm not trying to make light of your accident either.Get well soon.
