2011 Laguna Seca Moto GP,did you say wildcard?

not too many bikes yet...we rode out to the track and rode around the areas that will be off limits after this...it will be a mad house starting thurs fri a.m
couple folks milling about and lots of worker bees setting up.....
stuck the bike on Hwy 1 and rode dopwn a rare warm and sunny big sur higway

bike is riding great and sounds killer woth Kerker ,no packing, with just the core and cap and the 29's ...it has that deep crackling KZ healthy Kerker howl that is smooth and crisp as it rolls on and off...big difference in the way it ran with packing and out of tune....or with the Jardine...big diff

bikes tomorrow i hope..miles and no issues...

Garden looks great. Alot of work. We are having heat wave, no rain, bugs. Hard to keep plants and grass green.

few pics ...we are digging the time off and rode back late (for us) from the lower big sur last night...so we did a supplies and car tour today to get ready for tomorrows kick off and let the bike sit...i wanted to go out riding ...i could hear bikes everywhere on the far away highways all the way at our place while i watered the garden at sunset...too tired and plenty of bikes for three days now...bikes and eat and sleep;;;..AMA classes start running practice to kick it off at Fri 8:30 a.m and that leads to three full days with events in between and nights until Sunday at 4:30 p.m when Bostrom or that new fast kid on the Zx-10R wins the last race!!!! ,AMA Superbike....

went and had dinner on the bay and did some driving to see what is popping or setting up...down by the piers on the wharf some stunt teams and trailers are roping off and marking out their routines

this is the place to eat in monterey...if one could only eat at one place...this would be my pick...i have taken a few members here and they will tell you...it is the best...

so this is the lead up...at best i can get the weekend of the GP off...but in the old world a man could take some time ion the summer and camp or get away...they called it "vacation"...i know..i know...not in this world where ,one slowed step and the grinding wheel or the bankers will smash you....oh well...i think i am gonna take two weeks every yr i can swing it...the sun is here and we are set to kick it off tomorrow...

here are my pre- practice crash guesses for the top five or so....
