Memorial Day Ride/shakedown

One couldn't ask for better weather for a shakedown ride than today in SE WI.
Took the KZ1000 out to a barbecue about 65 miles away. Temp in the mid 80's, clear and breezy. The bike ran great after the winter tear down and rebuild. One more trip planned about twice as far and if that goes well I'm riding it to New Mexico. Gotta toughen up my butt. Life is good.

I live in DC and there were plenty of bikes around town due to the Rolling Thunder parade. I didnt see any KZ's, but one couple from PA admired my 440 LTD and we reminisced about his KZ1000 back home.

Was a hot one in our nations capital, thats also for sure.
