He got the bike and headed off to work and i headed off to teach. Around 5:30 heading home i passed a blue flash coming the other way. It was Vince heading on his evening supper brake. We pulled over and decided it was a much better idea to go ride in the country. 40 miles later we rolled back into town. I headed home and he headed to work still hungry but grinning like a 50ish year old kid
BTW on the ride i rolled over 700 miles. Not bad for only a month and a half "old" in the middle of winter.
Crazy bout these bikes!

This morning i drove my brother out to pick up his "new" 1980 1000 LTD. He bought it a couple of weeks after i got my '80 650. It has been at our friends shop getting it's baseline checkup as well as new drag bars and updated turn signals.
He got the bike and headed off to work and i headed off to teach. Around 5:30 heading home i passed a blue flash coming the other way. It was Vince heading on his evening supper brake. We pulled over and decided it was a much better idea to go ride in the country. 40 miles later we rolled back into town. I can picture that entire event taking place. Nice bikes and by the sound of it, in the hands of the right kind of owners

Tomorrow they are gonna do the run we call the "Tail of the Lazy Dragoon". MO HY 125 from Springfield down cross the AK border to Peel's Ferry. Then back and over through Branson and up the west side back to Springfield. About 220 miles. Pray the rain holds off!
