Some photos taken while motorbiking in Vietnam
31 Jul 2009 15:58
I highly recommend Vietnam for a motorcycle vacation. We were on a 5 week SE Asia trip and only spent 2 weeks in Vietnam and only 4 days on the motorbike. Next big trip will allow a minimum of 3 weeks just for Vietnam and ALL on motorbike.
They are thumbnails. Any one will link to the server with all. However, they are on 4 separate pages so you may want to link from one of each group to see all in that group.

Hey Roy!
Mrs Duck thoroughly enjoyed riding and now wants a bike of her own. I wish we could buy the little Honda 100's or 125's in the USA. It would be perfect for her on Oahu. If you're not familiar, they are step through like the old cubs and have a 4speed transmission but no manual clutch.
I've completed all the pre-requisites for nursing school and have been accepted to the accelerated program at GSU. Four semesters at state school cost the same as one semester at rivate school. The result is that it's MUCH more difficult to get into the state school. I'll have 4 very busy semesters including summer. If all goes well I should have a BS in nursing by Dec 2010.
I'll post a picture on a bike in my student nurses uniform before fall semester is over.

Great pics ! It's interesting to see other parts of the world. Don't know how safe an American would be in SE Asia but I would like to see it. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like you and the Mrs had a great time. Good to see smiles all around.

Looks a nice place to ride, seems to have recovered quite well since you guys flattened it.
Lets hope that Iraq and Afghanistan are cool & safe biking venues one day.

There is more capitalism going on in Vietnam than in the USA. Much lower taxes too.

I have an old CT-90. I've seen craigslist, etc. offers for a couple of them, and also the CT-110 Aussie version (they call 'em "Posties" because they were used for mail delivery a lot). Probably can't get a new one, but the old ones still run good. Beatrice Cycle (dratv.com) sells an upgrade kit to change a 90 to 104, with an ATV cam and larger carb. Hope you find something nice for the Mrs.
