well let me say i took my 78 kz 650 b2 model with suzuki gs 1000's and let me tell ya after getting her warmed up in the twisties she had no problem keeping up with them at all lol. i live in shelbyville, IN and we went to indy and started south and ended up about 90 miles south of Story,IN and a total of about 420 miles in one day. i know that might not sound like alot to some but thats the longest i have rode at one time and let me tell ya my stock flat seat well its gotta go for the long hauls lol but other than that well it was awsome and the other guys were cool as well i was on the smallest bike out of them all and the only kawasaki as well and i had no problems i held the name and pride well!!!!

No matter what anyone says, 400+ miles is a long ride on a KZ650. I've done it - ONCE.

yeah i did it and well let me just say it would've been alot easier if i would have had a different seat lol mine is the stock flat and its flat let me tell ya!!! well worth it though!!!

oh yeah i thought i had found some decent roads around here to ride on but boy was i wrong!!! lol its so boring riding around here now since i took all those twisties and now back to flat and straight roads.
