I used to keep it in my mates unit as I didn't have anywhere at home to keep it (couldn't street park it in Birmingham !) when he gave up his unit I had nowhere to keep it and didn't have time to use it. I was recently married with a couple of kids and the money was more use to me so it had to goI remember this bike! i had a GPz750 streetfighter painted the same colour and im fairly sure this and a few other bikes of the time was the inspiration. I had all the mags in a rack in the waiting room of my first studio, doctors waiting rooms have G&Q ..tattoo shops have streetfighter mags, super nice bike, what happened to her?
I would never have had the bottle to cut it in half without the guidance I got from Steve Harris

We scratched out drawings on a scrap of paper and he gave me the benefit of his knowledge for at least 20 minutes while the ques built at his stand.
The man was truly what we in the UK would call "a proper bloke"
I'm guessing "proper blokes" are rare in the uk as they are in usa.

Sadly that is the case, with so many as long as you are spending money they are happy to give you their time. When I met Steve he was running the Shell 500GP team and was at the show selling "Harris" products. I wasn't spending money and was talking to him about a frame kit they had sold maybe 15 years before. He still gave me the time and was genuinely interested in what I was doing. A truly "proper bloke"www.rideapart.com/news/593570/steve-harr...-parkinsons-disease/
