old and busted

Old and Busted update........ :pinch: another 2 weeks before I get to go back to see the doc for x rays to see if my fractured bones are trying to heal :blink:

I'm wearing a knee brace and I've ditched my walker and am now able to get around with a cane :S i feel sure (fingers crossed) that some healing is going on moving slow............ :ohmy: still I'm suffering from bike withdrawal even with all the pain not a days goes by that I wish I could throw my leg over a bike and ride.....all I can do now is hobble out to the garage and look at them :ohmy: I do crank them up and let them run a couple minutes though :ohmy: seems the rumble of the engines has a calming quality for me

:pinch: could not stand it ........... :ohmy: I threw my leg over my mean streak and was able to ride ....... first time I've been on a bike since my injury.. ..... :blink: :woohoo: feels real good to be back in the saddle again :woohoo: . I think this is the only bike I can ride right now (cruiser)........ :S I still have a lot of pain and I carry my cane in a back pack. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

yes , I know :blink: bike withdrawal got me.......I'm avoiding all pot holes :dry:

UPDATE: :blink: my fractured tibia and fibula bones are slowly healing huh: another week or two before i can get a pre op physical.
I'm getting around a lot better using my cane pain is still there but i'm able to manage most of the time without pain meds. :blink: I'm so glad to be fairly mobile again and be able to get around with less effort.

:laugh: I am able to ride my "meanie" as my leg isn't bent as much with the forward controls. :S I have tried to ride my EX 500.....still to painful :ohmy: riding with my knee bent produces extreme pain :ohmy:
