TOPIC:

My buddy Warren Kwasnek passed away yesterday after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind a wife and son as well as a whole bunch of riding buddies. Warren somehow managed to get up enough strength to come with us on 2 trips recently. The last trip was our 3 day Classic Bike Ride from Cowtown through MT and ID on Sept 12,13, and 14.

Warren owned a nice '73 CB750 Honda but was ailing too badly to ride it for such a trip so he ended up making the ride on his ST1300 with his 9 year old son behind him. I bike-camped with Warren and his son Cris many times and always had a great time. Warren and I were known as the "Two Cynics" since we shared the same views about many things in life.
I'll miss you, buddy, but I know you're now riding as much as you want every day and now you'll never have to fold up another wet tent or sleeping bag. Godspeed, Warren.

I'm so sorry to hear this news:( It must be hard to lose a close friend like that. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friends family.

i'm sorry i never met warren but i know your pain i have been to too many funerals of great racers,riders and great freinds in the last few years from the calgary, southern alberta area way too many, i miss them every day too young,too many. gone but notforgotten. sorry for your loss.
