(Takufumi Yoshida)Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. unveiled a full-scale mock-up of its four-legged mobility vehicle with plans for a public ride experience in Saudi Arabia by around 2035 and an eventual practical transport version.The horse-like Corleo was shown on July 28. The company hopes to offer a service allowing the public to hop into the saddle at a leisure facility in Saudi Arabia, initially focusing on entertainment under the theme of “Fun to Ride.”Rather than selling Corleo itself, Kawasaki is considering generating revenue from the attraction as a whole.Corleo is a new type of vehicle designed to be ridden astride like a horse. It incorporates technologies that Kawasaki has developed through its motorcycle business.Kawasaki envisions offering the experience at Qiddiya, a major entertainment city under construction in Saudi Arabia.Ahead of the planned launch, the company hopes to showcase a working Corleo model walking at Expo 2030 Riyadh and intends to develop an operational prototype by then.While the initial focus is on leisure, Kawasaki ultimately sees the potential for using Corleo as a transportation option in areas inaccessible to wheeled vehicles.

Looks fun but if the recreational debut is in Saudi Arabia then that tells me the price will be in the princely realm.
