I am picking up a non-running bike this weekend with apparently blown fork seals, it is extreeeemely squishy. I will be using a uhaul motorcycle trailer and need to haul it about 90 miles. I just want to make sure I don't do hardware damage to the fork innards or have it come loose. Am I worrying about nothing? Should I take any special precautions to make sure it stays secure and safe from damage, or just secure it with moderate compression like a bike with good forks?

From my experience, forks with blown seals tend to puke oil all over the floor of a U-haul trailer.
Not sure what bike you’re going to haul but perhaps you can load it in backwards and strap it down via grab rails or passenger pegs or the subframe. You’ll still get suspension compression with a lot less mess. Of course, for something huge like a Goldwing or HD, loading it backwards is not easily done.

I wouldn't mind putting it in backwards because with no front brake it would be easier to get out by myself. But I have a feeling it would be pretty hard getting it into the trailer that way with only 2 people. I'm not sure there's much oil left in these forks but I will try and come prepared, maybe wrap them like a mummy with rags and plastic and lay something on the deck.

The oil only provides damping, as long as you strap it down so the springs have compression it will be fine

Trailering went fiiiiiine, and dang, those uHaul motorcycle trailers are so nice and so cheap! Hopefully in a few days I'll know if I blew a few hundred on a project or a paperweight.
