I like it, when it comes to value you are best placed to understand the market in your part of the world. For example in the UK prices are close to double USA prices !!! I guess something like this is worth "what somebody is prepared to pay"

Too many variables.  The builder likely has more in it in time & money than he'll ever get out of it.  If the builder doesn't realize that, it'll be priced for only the very-deep-pocketed that just have to have it.

From about 2005 to maybe 2019 it was cost effective to restore a bike. Sadly those times are gone unless it's a very special early bike and all the parts are correctly date coded and fit and finish is to a professional standard.
Anything less in any aspect wont recover the costs especially if you plan to cost in your time.
In my experience only stock bikes bring the best prices. Resto modding or butchered bikes only devalue from the stock value regardless of how trick they are.
It only makes sense now to build the bike you want and plan on keeping it.

Couldn't agree more, my 82 Ltd (probably the "runt" of the big "Z" litter) will be worth a fraction of what I have put into it (but I knew that when I started  )

That is a very nice build and a lot of very expensive parts were used. If you can find some used Sanctuary bike prices, you might have a better idea of what the market looks like. I doubt if there are many bikes of that quality in the market, so prices may be all over the place.

If you really like it, and you can buy it for less than it would cost to build it, and the price fits your budget, I say buy it. If you are happy with the bike and the price, then the rest of us are just annoying chatter.

The seller wants 2200usd .The list over what is done is enormous and just too long to start write all here i maybe can try to use google translate and paste the text?
the engine is build by a known enginebuilder and they used only best parts   like 5speed undercut  Yoshimura gearbox
crank is  Falicon stage3 race/drag handmade in usa. the rods is the strongest  forged that is to buy made for dragracing.
MTC 1428cc big block. pistons  MTC 11.5:1 comp.   cams: andrews 3x race carbs: Mi.kuni TMR-MJN 38mm made by Yoshimura japan.
and the list goes on and on on the engine. I guess the price is almost fair .But i will have to sell my kz900 .
But starting to wonder how is this bike as a daily ride? is it made only for the dragstrip?   will it owerheat fast i mean 1428 cc aircoled.

A couple of grand? Gotta be worth that. You could part it out for more than that surely. 😉

I Would not pick that one as a daily rider, but ultimately, it depends on where you live and how you will ride it. If you are going to be in stop and go traffic in Las Vegas all summer, overheating is likely to be a regular occurrence. If you live and ride in northern Canada and work in a small town, it might work, though fuel mileage is liable to be pretty low.
