Is Winter Over?

I took 3 of my bikes out of storage today. KZ750, KZ 650 and my Vulcan S.
Took 2 for a short ride but as you can see, there is still a lot of snow on the ground. I was skiing 10 days ago.

When I lived in Wisconsin, we used to get snow as late as June...but now in south Texas, it has been in the 70's and 80's (F) for the past several months...so, yes, winter is over, for me

Nice bike Trackz440.

Winter is over in SW ON. I got the bike out yesterday for first run of the year.

Hi TrackZ440, winter is on its way here in New Zealand, but still today it is 19 degrees c, and took my bike for its first test run up the road and back to test brakes and see what carb adjustments I need to make 😁

I went for a quick ride this week and it was over 80 degrees today, but I'm still reluctant to put the snowblower away in case I jinx something.

I hear ya Nerdy, here in central  Massachusetts we got a surprise 8" snowstorm on April 12 after 2 weeks of 45 - 60 degree weather. Of course I had already swapped the snow tires for summer tires on the pickup and removed the concrete blocks from the bed. (It's a 2wd f150).   Guess I jinxed us this year.

I guess so - holy cow! That much snow out of nowhere at that time of year just seems inappropriate.

Outstanding z650, Rich, looks wonderfull !!!

Yes, winter is gone here in northern germany, lots of sun, a long "dry phase about 7 weeks without any rain in Feb, march and april), and about 15 to 20 °C in the last weeks, ( at night down to 1-7 °C)
I like the springtime here immense!- Will go for a ride tomorrow...
Greetings, Joe

It was just a quick reminder, by the end of the next day it was all melted away!

I gotta say as an HD fellow myself......it is funny how things come and go in fashion.
I am referencing the HD handlebars....  they must all shop at the same "custom" shop.

also in SE Michigan winter is over finally,
garden is planted and bikes are being brought back from the deep sleep.

also beautiful countryside you get to enjoy there!
