Title/ pink slip replacement outside USA
12 Jan 2025 19:16 - 12 Jan 2025 19:18
Can anyone here help.....
I purchased a KZ900 from Australia and imported it into New Zealand as a project, I have now gone to register it but there is no record of it being registered in Australia.
Turns out it was imported into Australia from the USA. Now I've found the title on the USA dmv... but how the hell do I get a copy of the title/ pink slip from the states?
I need the documents as i can't register it here with out them..
Anyone know or know someone who can help?

You will need to contact the DMV in the state that issued the title. Each state has its own procedure.

Don't know if would be beneficial but you could contact CAMS Racing in Christchurch. They have a batch of clever Ziwi's there. Used to send them Kawasaki bits for the members needs. They are well versed in importing stuff. I could tell you stories about importing but better not, ha.
