Parts to convert into police replica bike

Hi 
I’m new to the forum -
I’m looking at converting a 1982 kz1000 Ltd into a replica police bike .
Just wondering if anyone has done this before for parts etc ?

The only conversions I am aware of are those police bike owners who have gone the other direction than you are proposing...i.e. making P and C bikes look more like standard Kawasaki models.  There are major differences between P bikes and standard models in terms of frames, front suspension, seating, etc. The end result the of P bike conversions generally being that you can still tell they started with a P bike.

An exact replica would involve som involved fabrication, but might make an interesting project. 

A look alike tribute would be easier.
