Requesting KZ identification

Family member discovered a 750 LTD. He sent this picture. Any idea on the  year ?   
Appears to be unmolested ?

Is there a body tag next toVIN stamped on the fork stem?  Will tell you information you need.

My guess is 1983 KZ750 F1 LTD (shaft drive.) 

Edit: changed my guess.  It looks just like a 1984 ZN700.

Yes on the VIN detail,  unfortunately, we haven't got that far yet.  He is on other side of the state. 
I attempted some Google search info for him.  Appears to be a 1981 ? 
4 cylinder -yes ?
​​​​​​And wondering if that the Purple paint was associated to that model year.​​​​  Aside from the sissy bar, engine guard and handle bars-  - it seems all original and complete.  Thanks for any guidance on what appears to a good start on a decent discovery.

I'd definitely say it's an 84+.

ZN700 Ltd Shaft. a 750 would be a Canadian import. 84 or 85.
