I see a 1985 Kawasaki GPz600R $1650 located in my home town. No title, leaking gas tank and owner embellishment.

Question: Worth looking at from a flip standpoint. Physically too small for me.

Unless you can score a substantial discount off the asking price I don't think there is enough meat on the bone to make up for your time and effort. Not to mention the missing title hassle.

Unless my mind has gone downhill since 1985, which is entirely possible, I sure don't remember that GPZ600R. Not worth $1600, but not a bad looking motorcycle. Anybody remember it being sold in 1985 in USA?
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I remember when they first came out .We used to call them piece of shit 600 ninjas . That seems a bit high but who knows different areas get different prices . Looks like a lot of work . Not to mention the title issue . Wish I could title a bike here for $75.00 . Be a nice bike when done though .Looks like its all there . You dont see them around much anymore .

I knew a guy that raced one of those bikes back in the day. He was fast but crashed a lot. That bike rolls on 16" wheels, both front and rear. Here is some more info regarding them...www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/kawasaki...aki_gpz600r%2085.htm

Spent a lot of time ogling these on the showroom floor while I was in college. There was no way I could afford a new motorcycle but I had the sales brochure!
The worst part is I got to the dealership on my ten speed or a GF's moped. Humiliating!
