Hey everyone :) I recently got hold of a lovely old Z1 poster that someone has laminated in the past, I really like it and it gives some interesting information at the side, do any of you guys have any cool old posters or brochures that you can photo and put on here? :)

Ha ha that's brilliant! I'd love to know how many zeds they sold in Aus especially after mad max! For me the Z1a will always be the king motorcycle :)
At the bikes original Launch Kawasaki general manager T. Yamada summed it up perfectly, he said " we wanted to build the 'king motorcycle ' a bike beside which the finest motorcycles in the world would shrivel, a bike that would leave a hot and smoking scar across the face of the sport. ..and you just can't do that with a two stroke..."

I love that movie :) :) I love the start sequence leading up to the burnout clip that you've put up, it's interesting that almost all the zeds have a small aftermarket bikini fairing and unusual licence plate across the front forks, it's funny the race partway through , z1a vs a Norton 750! Really ?! No competition! !
