Hey everyone very new here and new to riding as well I inherited a 1979 kz650 recently and have been riding it with little to no issue until the last two days. The clutch seems to be slipping a lot which I mostly solved after a clutch adjustment. But as I roll the bike forward or in reverse out of gear without running I get this loudish tick every rotation of so, it does not do this while on the center stand but I’m leaning towards a clutch issue I just ordered new 10w-40 4cylinder oil good for wet clutch motors which I see was recommended highly but I just wanted to see if anyone has run into a similar probably before and wondering if there is an easier fix before removing the entire clutch any tips or words of advice would be extremely helpful, thanks!

Did you check you drive chain slack? A to loose chain could rub on the sprocket cover housing or swing arm and mimic the clutch clicking.
