I am looking for a picture and dimensions for the right hand seat/helmet lock bracket. The PO cut it off and now I have a keyed set of all the locks/ignition switch/gas cap, I would like to get it put back on. Thanks

From EB pics the bracket looks pretty simple. Just a flat rectangular piece of metal welded to the frame and it has a hole for the helmet lock pin plus a hole for the fastener. I couldn't find a great 440 pic, but I assume the bolt hole is threaded.

Thanks for the response. I finally for a picture of them. Two straight pieces of metal with a hole is correct. Should be simple to do.
Why is it frames are mostly pictured from the left side? :)

I guess it's more natural to have the frame facing to the left. kind of like reading a book left to right, most folks look at a motorcycle front end first & left to right. and mount on the left side. Some sellers provide various views. Currently, there are more KZ305 frames listed on EB than 440s. Some of the 305s use the same helmet lock, so the mount should be the same or almost the same.

I assume you'll have to use a bolt & nut to attach the helmet lock. If so, I would use a locking nut & loctite thread locker.

The bolt goes through the hole an threads into the lock body. Loctite is a great idea though. Thanks.
