I think this is the coolest add they ever did for the then new KZ650! However I am biased being as I worked at the Lincoln factory and purchased my first Kawasaki in December of 1977, a brand new shiny red 650 just like the one pictured in the add. I was really excited about the new KZ650 when the first one appeared in Lincoln, it seemed just the right size for me @ about 5'7" and about 130lbs. at the time. I had mine painted silver(actually the base coat for the 900 LTD persimmon) at the plant, crazy they would do that at the time. I added a four into one pipe,( and probably threw away the stock exhaust like almost everybody did), and rejetted 26mm carbs with velocity stacks. I had a lot of fun with that bike!

Sorry, must have double tapped the insert button or something? I'm not smart enough to fix it, I tried!
