I have a 1977 Kawasaki KZ 1000 LTD B1. I rebuilt both front calipers and master cylinder. And replaced all the front lines with stainless. Installed everything and bleed the lines. Front wheel can barely move. I think the pistons are hung up or master cylinder is shot. But not really sure . Can anybody tell me some insight or what my next move is?

Did you confirm the small orifice in the mast cylinder was clean and clear?

In the master cylinder, there are two holes between the cylinder and the reservoir. On is obvious, and one is really tiny and easily clogged and easy to overlook. If it is clogged, pressure cannot be released from the line.

Did you check the inside groove in the cylinder? They should be carefully cleaned before inserting the seal that wraps around the piston. This seal is what makes the piston back off a bit when you release the brake handle.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
