Has anyone ever been to this place? I'd like to take a ride down there sometime and spend a couple days. Amazing place.

most certainly! Think about attending their vintage weekend. With AHRMA road racing, huge swap meet, bike shows, and about 60,000 plus other bike nuts there, it will blow your mind. First or second weekend in October every year.
