So when I put the 84 zx550 engine in my 81 kz550 I had to change the throttle cable so used one for the 84zx550. It's not long enough. Cause when I turn fully it revs up. So I'm hoping someone knows what would work and maybe have a part #. My handlebars are not stock they are superbike bars so a little lower. I'm thinking maybe the 84 gt550 might be a little longer

Some shops will make custom cables. In a local free shopper mag, there's a guy who advertises he makes cables. Maybe there's one in your area.
