Riddle me this. Is there such a thing as 'winter tyres' for a bike? I know this is a common thing on cars but Ive never heard anyone switching tyres on a bike when the weather turns.

By winter tyres I'm assuming that you're suggesting a tire that has softer rubber to give better grip on wet and snowcovered surfaces.
Back in the day I valued a tire that would run longer. But now that I'm older and have several bikes to choose from I prefer a tire that sticks better. I wonder if anyone makes a tire with a softer compound and a grippy tread pattern?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationMaybe Santa has a set of these??

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I used to run studded tires on my Honda XR 500 R dirtbike..
It hooked up on ice like i was on a hot race course with racing tires.
